Things to do on Middle Caicos

Ruins on Middle Caicos
Ruins on Middle Caicos
Middle Caicos does not have the array of activities that Providenciales offers. Instead, you have the choice of a quiet, peaceful vacation, or a fun-filled day trip exploring the almost deserted island.

Exploring
Rent a car or jeep and explore the miles of deserted roads, most unpaved. See the variety of beaches on Middle Caicos.

Crossing Place trail
The largest hiking trial in the Turks and Caicos, Crossing Place trail covers approximately 7 miles and can be hiked or biked. Parts of the trail are marked, and covers a variety of terrain from beach and iron shore, to inland pathways.

Conch Bar cave
The largest cave system in the entire Turks and Caicos and Bahamas archipelago. Conch Bar consists of several caves. The most prominent rises like a giant clamshell out of the earth and contains stalactites, stalagmites, and interior chambers. Although you may explore on your own, a guide is recommended.
