Providenciales has a few different types of things to do on land, but most
things to do are water related. Land activities are mostly various
sports such as horseback riding or golf. Sights include ruins and natural beauty
areas, but there are few tourist attractions apart from the world's only
conch farm.
Providenciales is home to the Provo
Golf and Country Club, the only 18-hole course in the country and
consistantly rated among the top 10 in the Caribbean.
The clubhouse is designed in the West Indian style, and features the
Fairways Bar and Grill, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Clubhouse has excellent views overlooking the green and is a great
place to relax after a round of golf. The course is open from 7.00am
every day, and tee times are generally always available. Make sure you
call ahead to enquire about specials on rates and green fees.
Horseback Riding
Providenciales is home to two corrals, one on the north side of the island, and one on the south side
(near Grace Bay). Both offer distinctively different experiences.
Provo Ponies operates on the south side, Long Bay and the rides run along the nearly deserted beach 10 minutes from the stable. They are the islands largest corral, and can accommodate up to 15 riders. There is a weight limit of 200lbs, as these are small island ponies.
Caicos Corral is located directly on the north shore. They operate rides along busy Grace Bay. This is a smaller corral, and can take 5 guests per ride. Beginners and children are welcome. There is a weight limit of 200lbs.

Bicycling
With the completion of new roads with sidewalks in Grace Bay,
bicycling is now a fun way to explore the Grace Bay area. Most
hotels rent bicycles. We recommend that you ride on the sidewalks in
the Grace Bay area, and not stray out into Leeward Highway or roads
without sidewalks. Also remember to drink plenty of liquids.
ATV Driving
Drive off-road ATV quads in the Blue Hills area. It's possible to drive all the way to the Northwest Point National Park.
Mini-Golf and Go-Karts
The second mini gold course built on Providenciales and the only one open today. Snack bar on site.
