For larger groups, or those wanting to get further away from the crowd, a rental villa is the perfect choice.

Providenciales has a number of rental villas, with varying degrees of bedrooms, facilities, and level of luxury.

Deciding on a Villa

Location should be a consideration when deciding on which villa to stay at.  About half of the villas on Providenciales are located in Grace Bay.  For villas in other areas, it would be necessary to rent a car, as some are located in secluded and isolated areas, with no shops or grocery stores around.

Villas, while they may only be one building, are commonly split into multiple units.  For example, a two story villa with a guest house will commonly be rented as 3 individual units (upper floor, lower floor, and guest house).  Other villas are single floor houses and you rent the entire building.  In our list below, the ranges for the beds and price reflect this.  Beds are the number in the smallest unit to the total number in the entire property.  The low price is the lowest cost unit at the cheapest time of the year, and the high price is the entire property at the most expensive time of the year (usually Christmas).

Most villas are located on or near a beach, however, the quality of the beach varies.  Some beaches may have little or no sand, and simply be a path down a cliff.  Grace Bay is the best, but there are several other good beaches.  Some beaches, such as those around Turtle Cove, are not very good for swimming, but are good for snokeling.

Most villas have air conditioning, which we highly recommend due to the hot weather on Providenciales, but it is usually extra.  Some have fixed A/C charges, but most are metered and charged at the going rate.  Electricity is priced at around 40¢ KWh (2008), so a regular sized room air conditioner would be about $30 per week (constant use).

Checking Availability and Booking a Villa

Some villas allow you to check the availability online, but for most you need to send an email or call and ask. 

Booking a villa is usually done directly with the owners, as most are independently managed.  The most common methods of payment are wire transfer, bank draft, and credit card, although not all villas accept credit cards.  To book a villa, just visit it's website and click on the 'Reservations' or 'Contact Us' link.

Things to Remember

There are several things to note before booking your villa.

• All prices listed below are per week.
• There is a 10% government tax on top of all rates listed below.
• Villas vary widely on size, amenities and location.
• Each "villa" may in fact simply be a single room or floor, not a whole building.
• There may be additional charges or fees, such as for A/C.
• Prices are subject to change.
• Information listed below, such as prices, may not be up to date.
  

Villa List Basic listings are free for the villa owner, and we try to ensure that all villas on Providenciales are listed. If you have an idea of the villa you're looking for, you can filter them using the options below.  By default, all villas are shown alphabetically. The price range option only takes into account the lowest price of a villa. For example, if you search for a price between $3000 and $5000, a villa with a price range of $4,900-7,900 will be shown.  Conversely, if you search for a villa between $5000 and $7000, a villa with a price range of $4,900-7900 will NOT be shown.  Beds is the minimum number of beds the villa or villa complex must have.  For example, if your party has 8 people and you require at least 4 beds, select 'At least 4'.  The total number of beds in a villa or complex will include all units and buildings (for example, both floors and the guest house). All prices listed are per week.
